Tempted in and loved the experience
“Made a quick visit after a walk on The Ridgeway – hanging baskets were exceptional and room in the car park so we pulled in. Welcomed on the door, shown to our table and given menus. Good choice of beer and 2 varied menus. W
e shared padron peppers for starters – best I have had since last in Spain. Cooked perfectly with just the right amount of salt. Then sea-bream for me and a burger for my buddy.
Both very tasty, very pleased with our choices. Throughout the meal, service was top notch, attentive without being intrusive. The prices were very reasonable given the quality of the food, the ambience of the pub and the faultless servic “

“After a long day out on the bike, I popped in here for a much needed pint of Thatchers Haze. Both ladies serving were very friendly as I opted for a seat in the front garden.”

“One of our best B&B on a three week trip in the UK. The room was great, the size, the cleanliness, the amenities, the value for money, so all in all it was great. Secondly, the food was fabulous, both the diner & breakfast, we really enjoyed with my son the sausages, they were amazing, we will remember those!
What really set this place a part is the staff / owners they were extremely helpful & customer orientated.
